ETHOS
- Learning to swim is the only sport which is life saving.
- Safety in water and Lifesaving techniques are
taught in the event someone falls in to water.
In the UK we are surrounded by different water
types like ponds, rivers, canals, rivers, lakes
and sea. Even puddles and baths have caused
drownings in young children.
- Everyone can learn to swim if they are willing to learn.
- Every person learns to swim in their OWN time and at their OWN level.
- Small classes are more efficient and effective
for younger children or children who require
extra support. - There is no right or wrong age to learn to swim or to be at a certain level – we are all different for a reason = INDIVIDUALITY MATTERS!
- Every person learns differently and at a time that is best for them.
- Everyone learns to swim easier in a warm pool at a pace which is individual to them.
- Children and parent groups are better for under 4-5 year olds as it is proven that young children do not always have the ability to concentrate for long and it ensures the child (and adult) gets the most fun and learning out of 30 minutes in the water.
- Swimming has no age barriers.
- Swimming has no ability barriers.
